The purpose of the Social Ministry is to bring together, leaders working in ministries of charity, justice, life, and service so that they can share their successes, concerns, and difficulties, network together, and assist one another to better serve the people of the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and those of the greater community of Vista. The Social Ministry also serves as a conduit for information and communication from the many social concerns ministries of the people in the parish they serve and the stewards they come to involve in their particular ministry. Finally, the Social Mistry allows the pastor, and pastoral staff, the opportunity to gather with the many social concerns ministries, to encourage them, support them, and help them to better serve those in need in the parish and Vista community.
