Ministries - Jail

“In Matthew 25 Jesus teaches us to welcome the stranger, feed the hungry, cloth the naked, and visit the prisoner."

Prison Ministry is not active at present due to Covid-19 but we are looking for volunteers to assist us when we are ready to start up again, hopefully soon!

The St. Francis Church jail ministers visit the North County jail inmates regularly with music, prayer, and sharing the gospel every  Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7 – 8:30 pm, we need help! We are scheduled in pairs and your partner shares the ministry. Stewards are free to select whatever day suits their schedule. If you could give one night a week or even two nights a month, or even one night a month, it would be greatly appreciated. There are training sessions offered through the diocese.
